Hey y'all...as a former KSU student who got out...I feel compelled to let y'all know something that may shock you...most people in the America DO NOT support large tobacco and chemical companies to help pass the time...
Shocking? Perhaps...
But check this out...Most people don't subject themselves to sitting in bars and other public places full of nasty chemicalized, exhaled tobacco smoke either! Whats more...some bars even smell not horrible! And, when you get home from a bar where people aren't sucking down cancer sticks, you don't need a shower right away and you can wear the same clothes for a few days without smelling like an ashtray :)
I know some of you won't believe me, but I assure you it is TRUE!
Here is a true story...I was back in Kent a while back to placy a couple shows with my band. Being that we live in Northern California where the air is relatively pure and clean and public smoking is not permitted, we had a hard time sitting in small, unventilated rooms where Carbon Monoxide and exhaled chemicals from cigarettes was more abundant than fresh clean, life affirming oxygen. So I lit a stick of incense in front of the stage to atleast trick myself into believing the air was not toxic...well, the bartender came over from across the room and asked me to put it out, she said it offended her. I quickly started gagging only to look down and see that her lit cigarette smoke was wafting into my face...Eventually I explained my situation and she yielded to my strange desire for clean air.
The moral of this story is...Clean air good-Cancer Air BAAAD.
So my friends, enjoy your time at KSU, it may be the most exciting thing you ever experience (and if so, god help you), but you need not suffer any longer, clean air laws have reached every corner of America and will soon be coming your way, I hope y'all cast a wise vote for clean air.
Solstice blessings...
